3D Global wins East Württemberg Innovation Award 2026

Award number four in the space of a year: In a ceremony at Heidenheim’s Voith-Arena, 3D Global received the East Württemberg Innovation Award 2026 thanks to its unique process chain for real-time glasses-free 3D images. This represents a special honor for the technological advances achieved by the Aalen-based company.

The process chain, comprising a camera, software, electronics, and an autostereoscopic 3D display with integrated head tracking, generates natural 3D depth perception without the need for glasses. This technology is already active in the medicine, teleoperation, automotive, and education sectors, delivering a sizable boost to ergonomics and user comfort.

For 3D Global, the award further reinforces its well-established vision – that innovation should be deployed where it truly adds value. This also boosts international visibility, not only of the company itself but also of the Photonic Valley East Württemberg as an innovation hub.
