3D Global wins VR INNOVATIONs Award 2026

The Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken in Baden-Württemberg have presented the VR INNOVATIONs Award 2026 to 3D Global in honor of its technological innovations. This Aalen-based company was crowned the winner in the small-medium enterprise category for its unique 3D technology, which ensures glasses-free spatial 3D vision.

Key to the triumph was the continuous 3D process chain at 3D Global, with its in-house camera, electronics, software, and screen technology combining image capture, processing, and reproduction to form a seamless overall system. This generates three-dimensional images with natural depth perception – in real time, free from glasses or a headset, and for precision viewing by multiple persons at once.

The technology is already opening up new fields of business in medical technology, robotics, industry, and education. Over 500 glasses-free 3D microscopes are now used in medical applications and form the basis for further growth.
